ToJava Offers "Quickstart" to Pain-free Lotus Notes Migration
Low Cost Package includes ToJava™ Suite and Notes-to-Java Best Practices Education
New York, NY - (June 7, 2005) - ToJava, the Lotus Notes and Domino migration specialists, announced today ToJava Quickstart(TM), a low cost package that gives organizations the tools and skills needed to migrate Lotus Notes/Domino applications and data to J2EE. ToJava Quickstart includes the ToJava suite (its namesake collection of software tools that automate critical migration tasks), and on-site training in Notes-to-Java migration best practices. The offering is a boon to organizations that are saddled with aging Notes applications and in search of effective migration strategies.
ToJava launched Quickstart in response to the demand for a package of software and services that can help organizations get started with migration initiatives. The company offers a full range of consulting services to assist with the every facet of migration planning, implementation, and post migration support.
Halifax, Nova Scotia-based energy and services company Emera Inc. (EMA-TSX) signed up for ToJava Quickstart in May and received the training and tools shortly thereafter.
"ToJava has useful, time-saving tools that will help us achieve our migration objectives," said Bruce Wauchope, Emera project manager. "We were happy that they offered the flexibility of working with their technology as well as their consulting and training services. We are now on the road to migrating our many Notes applications."
ToJava reduces the time required to completely move Lotus Notes and Domino application logic, functionality and data to Web-centric technologies. The company offers a lifeline for sites seeking improved scalability, fewer technologies to support and a faster way to a Java future.
